J.T. Weis, owner of Abcor Industries has joined the Harmel Academy board of trustees. Mr. Weis has been a strong supporter of the vision of Harmel Academy of the Trades and the board is excited to welcome him.
J.T. Weis is Chief Executive Office and owner of Abcor Industries in Holland, Michigan. Abcor was named a “Top 50 Company to Watch in the State of Michigan”. Prior to owning Abcor Industries, he was Group President in Berkshire Hathaway, responsible for $400M of revenue across four global operating companies. Earlier in J.T.’s career, he successfully ran a global French company while based in Paris, France and has significant prior Fortune 100 leadership experience. He is an experienced innovative leader of global organizations producing end-to-end solutions in industrial markets, and executing measurable success in executing free cash flow turnarounds. He has an MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Winona State University. Along with his position on the Harmel Board of Trustess, J.T. serves as Board President of Sacred Heart Academy and has served on several Boards and Councils. J.T. lives with his wife, Christine of 25 years and four daughters in East Grand Rapids, Michigan. They are members of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish.
