The heart of our unique Catholic men’s academy is the depth of our program, which is a full two-year residential college experience that includes character formation, life skills training, and the social comradery that builds a culture of focused, dedicated workers.
Our character-based trades education provides employers with highly-skilled workers of commitment and character.

A PROVEN MODEL — The Harmel Academy is inspired by a model designed and refined by Williamson College of the Trades for over 100 years. The effectiveness of this model of character-based, trades education has been independently corroborated by a 3-year, $2.5 million study funded by the John Templeton Foundation and conducted by the Institute for Applied Research in Youth Development at Tufts University.
