At the Inquisition, and thanks to the generosity of our donors, the most recent batch of First Men In Scholarships were awarded!
There were six men in Harmel Academy’s original graduating class. After they had completed their first year at Harmel, they were asked to share one piece of advice to all future Harmel students.
These Original Six Principles have since hung on the walls of Harmel’s dorms and laboratories.
The “First Men In” merit scholarships are named after the original six graduates and the piece of advice they offered to future Harmel students. Staff and faculty select scholarship recipients based on the qualifications of each award. The individual qualifications are as follows.
